Nahodne mrznutie systemu
Zdravim, uz strasne dlho mam problem s mrznutim systemu (asi od ub.7.10). Mam HP 6710b (intel 965/X3100). Z nicoho nic mi zmrzne system a nejde ho restartovat ani pomocou sysrq skratiek. Aj ked mam vypnuty compiz. Minule mi zmrzol len tak pri prezerani pdf na fullscreen. Pozeral som aj do logov a nic podozrive som tam nevidel, resp. poradte v ktorych logoch hladat. Mate niekto tiez tento chipset/nb? Nemate problemy s mrznutim? Momentalne pouzivam ubuntu 8.10.
Pre pridávanie komentárov sa musíte prihlásiť.

inak radsej by som odporucil cpuburn alebo:

moze to byt ale aj HW chyba, napr.ram. zatialco winu chybna ram moc nevadi (resp. vadi len pri specifickych ukonoch) pri linuxe to sposobuje nahodne zamrznutie.
Nie. Memtest moze chybu len potvrdit, nie vylucit.

Nechat to pustene par hodin
Týmto by si mal vylúčiť / potvrdiť, či za to môže xserver/grafická karta.
Mimochodom vedel si že aj z konzoly môžeš pozerať web, počúvať hudbu a pod? Bolo by to súčasťou záťažového testu :)
