Legalita MySQL pri komecnom vyuzivani?

Je legalne vyuzivat "Free as in beer" verziu MySQL pre komercne ucely (wehosting)? Alebo je nutne si zakupit ich entrprice verziu? Dakujem za info.

      mysql je aj pod GPL a to nevylucuje komercne pouzivanie...

          Myslim ze GPL nevylucuje komercne vyuzitie a teda to nie je problem. Dakujem

      odpoved na tuto otazku je jednoznacne na domovskej stranke mysql. licencia zavisi od produktu a aj jeho aktualnej verzie a sposobu vyuzitia, gpl neznamena free/zdarma ... a prepytujem, mysql nerobi len mysql databazu ale aj napriklad maxdb ktora je drahsia ako auto tvojeho otca.

      MySQL Community Server - ten je v linuxovych distrach - je pod GPL tj mozes ho pouzivat na webhosting. ja len tak.... MySQL Products are available under the "dual licensing" model.
