Postupuješ podľa: 1:základných testov
2/ prípadne ak máš multihead
3/ ak máš chuť pridáš rozšírené testy

Description

This test case tests whether basic X initialization is successful with the nouveau driver.
Setup

Ensure the 'nomodeset' and 'nouveau.modeset=0' kernel parameters are not set in your bootloader configuration
Ensure the file /etc/X11/xorg.conf does not exist, or is a valid file that uses the nouveau driver
Shut your system down entirely, then start it up again
If using a live image to test, ignore the above steps and simply boot the system from the live image with default options

How to test

Observe whether the system successfully reaches the graphical login screen


Expected Results
The system should boot successfully to the normal graphical login screen, at the optimal resolution for your monitor, with no graphical artifacts (missing cursor, wrong colors etc)

Report your results
If you have problems with any of the tests, report a bug to Bugzilla usually for the component xorg-x11-drv-nouveau. If you are unsure about exactly how to file the report, just ask on IRC and we will help you. Follow the instructions on this page to ensure you include sufficient information in the report. Once you have completed the tests, add your results to the Results table below, following the example results from Sample user as a template. The first column should be your name with a link to your User page in the Wiki if you have one, and the second should be a link to your Smolt hardware profile (see above for a link with instructions on submitting your hardware profile to Smolt). For each test case, use the result template to enter your result, as shown in the example result line. If you could not perform one test (for example, you cannot perform the more advanced tests because the basic one fails, or you cannot perform the multihead test as you have only one display), enter the word N/A. In the comments column, you can enter the model name and PCI device ID (vendor ID is usually 10DE) of your card, if you know it - you can usually find this information in the output of the command lspci -nn.

Súhlas, po určitých ťažkostiach som sa dopracoval k tomu, čo sa podobá na tvoj stav ... pretože som tuná navádzal Teba aj ostatných, použiť špeciálne LiveCD, skúsil som to aj ja bez inštalácie na HDD a:

Reportoval som pracne do bugzilla viacero bugov (NVIDIA) ale potom som to nechal tak, som rozčarovaný ... a musím to rozchodiť.

btw, bol pred týmto test weekom aj test week kde sa testoval kernel ? :D bola to pekná pripomienka kernel panic-ov, škoda že nereprodukovateľných... aj keď gnome-shell vyzerá imho lepšie ako ten v ubuntu (10.10)
