Minochodom, k tomu svetielku. nesignalizuje to svetlo len napajanie cez USB?
uname -r. z toho uvidis verziu tvojeho aktualneho jadra, to cislo si poznac niekam na papierik. potom tam napissudo synaptica v nom zaskrtni preinstalovat kernel-modules pre danu verziu (podla ciselka) a daj vykonat. Tym zrolujes tie zmeny.Ohladne ovladaca na kamery gspca, tak ten o sebe tvrdi ze podporuje tvoju kameru a tlacia ho aj priamo do jadra. Takze po reboote skus

cize pise tam ze failed tak myslim ze to uz bude dobre. ak nie tak mi prosim ta povedz presny nazov balika ktory mam preinstalovat.
ta sprava z nacitania modulu je takzvana debug hlaska. Jej format bol v tom ovladaci nastaveny tak aby vypisal chybu (aj s zakladnym popisom) a nazov suboru aj s kompletnou cestou platnou pri preklade/kompilacii. Takze zmazanie priecinku s zdrojakmi malo nulovy efekt. Uz si dal v synapticu preinstalovat tie moduly? Mozno ano a ostali tam stare moduly, ale tomu neverim. Instalacia a reinstalacia modulov pomocou balickovacieho systemu zahrna vymazanie adresara a nasledne rozvalenie archivu s modulmi ukryteho v tom baliku a pregenerovanie naveznosti modulov. Teoreticky je mozne ze by v ubuntu vypustili vymazanie toho priecinku a aj s prepisanie novsich suborov ako to co je v baliku, ale moju vieru zmenim az ked sa mi podari to blbuntu obnovit a nasimulovat to chovanie balickovacieho systemu o ktorom sa bavime. Historia a bezpecnost nepustia.

Pochopitelne je vhdne pozriet na vytup z lsmod a co pribudlo v dmesg, najme ci to nahodou nezaviedlo ten inkriminovany ovladac ktory robil problemy.
ak by to nenacitalo modul gspca_519 tak treba pozriet ci kernel v tvojej verzii jadra existuje prikazom:
find /lib/modules/`uname -r`/ -type f | grep 519ak tam nie je tak este nezahrnuli ovladac pre 519ku do jadra a vtedy sa mozes rozhodnut ci das upgrade ubuntu na 8.10 (podmienka niekolko GB volneho miesta na spravnom linuxovom disku a internet ktory nie je spoplatnovany). Alebo ci pouzijes ovladace ktore si instaloval, len pomocou module-asistant tak ako bolo pisane 05.10.2008 20:08 tusu to len 3 az 4 prikazy cez sudo. Ak by to nefungovalo pre istotu po reboote a nacitani tebou preferovaneho modulu 51x_jpeg
tak je moznost nahodit vanilla kernel z www.kernel.org, napriklad verziu 2.6.26.6 s patchom 2.6.27-rc9, popripade ovladace z
projektu gspca ktory IMHO ako projekt co sa dostal do jadra ma vecsiu pracdepodobnost funkcionality.
Ale ak by sa ti namiesto gspca ovladacov nahodil znova 51x_jpeg, tak budes musiet prehodnotit reinstalaciu tych ovladacov.
PS.: preco tato diskoteka a stornovanie skompilovanie ovladacov z CVS? pretoze ten ovladac 51x_jpeg nevyzera byt skompilovany korektne. Nieco mu chybalo a error uz neuvidime. Inak ajtak projekt module_asistant je primarne urceny na build modulov pomocou balickovacieho systemu, tak preco ho nevyuzit.
PS.: bola dosiahnuta maximalna hlbka rekurzie, a to bol dovod preco som spominal 800x480. Nie kazdy a nie vzdy ma k dispozicii pocitac. A to bolo nativne rozlisenie mojeho tabletu kde sa skudocne perfektne pozera diskusia s tolkymi prispevkami a tak velkymi prispevkami a ...

Nevadí ak to ide vo WIN _XP.
Linux jadro/base_systém je viac náchylný na chyby v dizajnu hardvéru(nie len výrobné). Čo je samozrejme len dobre aspoň vedia ľudia čo za šmejdy sa vyrábajú a kupujú.
