Nazdárek spolubojovníci,
dúfam, že sa mi budete vedieť pomôcť. Pokúšam sa na mojom PC rozbehať Xgl. ALE ono to vyžaduje 3D drivery. Mám GK Nvidia Geforce tak som si ich stiahol. Kompilácia neprebehla vôbec Vypísalo niečo takéto.
( je to pod týmto textom. kvôli dĺžke 5000 znakov.)
... ale to je vedľajšie. Tak som si pobehal pohľadať k stýčkovi google nejaké to info. Dopátral som sa k tomu, že možno použiť Yast Online Update (YOU) . Keď som v ňom potrebný driver hľadal tak som nič nenašiel.
ČO mám teda ešte robiť? Poprosil by som Vás o ak možno 100% zaručený spôsob. Už sa tu s tým hrám asi 4 dni.
Iba pripomeniem, že som updatoval (práve kvôli Xgl) so SuSE Linux-u 10.0 na openSuSE 10.2. - ktoré som stiahol z netu. Ď.

je pisany pre OpenSuse 10.1 ale je to rovnake aj pre 10.2, len je tam mala zmena:
tuto cast:
rm /var/X11R6/bin/X
ln -s /usr/X11R6/bin/Xgl /var/X11R6/bin/X
treba v 10.2 zmenit na:
rm /var/X11R6/bin/X
ln -s /usr/bin/Xgl /var/X11R6/bin/X

Nedá sa nejak použiť YOU (YAST Online Update), bo v SUSE Linux-e 10.0 mi pekne nainštalovalo driver a ten bol vyhodený prechodom na 10.2.
A ak ti to pôjde možeš sem napísať aký ovladač to bol..

Prepis Nvidia driver na nv v xorg.conf
a reštart....povoliť XGL asi vieš-...keby nie,
daj si pomocníka v SUSE a daj hľadať xgl
je to ľahké...
pravdepodobne nemas nainstalovany kernel source k jadru, ktory si nabootoval.

ti napise kernel, aky mas
rpm -qa |grep kernel
ti napise ktore kernel baliky su nainstalovane. Ak tam nebude source s rovnakym cislom, tak je potrebne ho doinstalovat, plus gcc a make, co uz napisal Tomas.
po uspesnom "sh NVIDIA-Linux*..." spusti prikaz
