A chcel by som aby som mal na zaciatku vyber len z toho co potrebujem. Nech to vypada nejako takto ::

Da sa ten zvysok nejako odinstalovat? Viem ze sa Grub da zmenit manualne, a tym tie polozky vyhadzat...ale ja by som ich chcel najradsej aj odinstalovat. Mozem? A ked ano tak ako? Dakujeeeem
asi mozes aj odinstalovat ten starsi kernel a neviem co za kernel je generic...
V Debiane by to malo fungovat podobne.
A ak tam chces mat miesto "Other operating systems:" tie ciarky na oddelovanie dobra a zla, staci prepisat prislusny riadok, "title" na zaciatku riadku oznacuje co sa bude v menu zobrazovat.
V v6.10 ale v UBUNTU usudili, ze vydavat viac kernelov nebudu, lebo to neprinasa ziadny vykon naviac a tak aby sa usetrilo na udrzbe vydavaju iba i386 kernel (pod znamkou generic).
BTW generic je iba metabalik, cheknite si (nie Ty uid0 :) ) v Ubuntu v Synaptic velkost toho balika. Este lepsie je dat si v Synaptic vyhladat baliky co maju v popise [description] "linux". Vylistuje Vam to vsetky kernely, co su k dispozicii, tak si krasne zaklikate co vyhodit, co aktualizovat. Ale balik generic asi netreba, teda asi by sa ani nemal vyhadzovat.
otvor si synaptic a daj hladat 2.6.17-10 ,vsetko co najde a mas nainstalovane , mozes odinstalovat.
