libxml2, inštalácia dclib,

Ahojte, Mám problém. Chystám sa skompilovať si dcgui. predtým však treba dclib. Ked sa pokúšam skompilovať, naksôr príkaz ./configure vypíše že potrebujem libxml2. skúsil som teda locate libxml2 a vypisalo mi že sa mi nachádza v /usr/lib a v usr/share/doc. Ale systém pri configure stále hlási že ho tam nemám. Tak som skúsil stiahnuť z netu, a nainštaloval. zase to končí tou istou hláškou. že libxml2 tam nieje a mám dat iný prefix (čo neviem ako) ak ju mám nainštalovanú. Môžte mi poradiť?       Prvé som ako tak vyriešil...teraz druhé. súvisí to s týmto - ide o kompiláciu dcgui. Príkaz ./configure prebehol v poriadku.
