World of padman 1.5 nefunguje

Ahojte
Obraciam sa na Vas s prozbou o spojazdnenie tejto hry. Kym bola hra vo verzii 1.2 vsetko islo v poriadku nainstaloval som ju z repozitarov ubuntu no ponuklo mi novu verziu 1.5 a tu sa mi neda spustit vobec. Stiahol som ju aj z oficialnych stranok na vyskusanie ani ta mi nejde v kozoli mi vypisuje toto

      mas tam dake neznanme subory, potom couldn't exec wopconfig.cfg ,couldn't exec autoexec.cfg : nemoze zapisovat tieto 2 konfiguraky, nejake vystrahy pri zmene rozlisenia ,OPEN GL, rozlisenie ktore sa snazi dat nieje podporovane, ked to tak zhrniem tak dost chyb, ale nemyslim ze je to novou verziu, skor si myslim ze to sposobuje stara verzia hry, niekedy sa mi stalo pri ubuntu, ze neodtranilo stare verzie, je mozne ze si nejak vadia, doporucoval by som ist do System->Správa->Správca balíkov, a tam vymazat cokolvek sa týka tej hry, a skusit novu instalaciu, len treba zaskrtnut uplne odstranenie,davaj pozor co mazes! a potom s repozitarou skuste novu instalaciu, ak to nepojde, tak to bude len zle nakonfigurovane, a v nastaveni by bolo treba zmenit par veci, ako rozlisenie, a hlavne bude treba dat ine atributy tim konfigom aby boli zapisovatelne, mozno exsituje daky path co treba aplikovat

      Tu hru som v repozitaroch nenasiel, ale to ju asi len este nedali do 11.4. Teda ak nie je v portoch, ale tie su neni repozitare.

      Inak, esste by mohlo pomoct premenovat priecinok /home/viktor/.padman

        aha tak to neviem skus, ale pozri sa to toho spravcu balikov , len pozri ci tam niesu dake stare subory, vies baliky suvisiace so starou verziov

      Tak teraz som skusil na svojom NB kde mam staru verziu 1.2 a teraz som zo stranky stiahol tu novu 1.5 a ibe vpohode i jed i druha verzia. Pravdepodobne to bude problem len v mojom PC. Len neviem kde :(

        tak skus tu dobru verziu spustit v konsole a porovnaj zmeny oproti tej zlej, mozno tak na to prides, co treba zmenit

            malo by pomoct keby si "couldn't exec wopconfig.cfg
            couldn't exec autoexec.cfg" tieto subory nasiel a spravil ich aby boli zapisovatelne,a potom este zmen rozlisenie na jedno s tych podporovanych, skus tieto veci spravit, hlavne tie configy musia byt zapisovatelne, najdiu ich dakde medzi suboramy v hre......ak to pojde tak pojde, ked nie tak este bude treba daco zmenit

        Tak nasiel som na starom DVD este verziu 1.2 a nainstaloval na PC. Hra 1.2 ide a hra1.5 nie :(

            no ved tak ak ti ide tak na NB pusti tu 1.5 a aj na pc v konsole,a uvidis tie rozdiely, s toho uz sa da zistit co treba zmenit, mozno

                tie konfigy, to je problem, ja som harval kedysi hry, a mal vlastny server,a boli tam podobne subory, musia existovat tam kde maju byt a musia byt zapisovatelne, aby ich hra mohla menit, to je hlavny problem

                  Tu je otázka že či sa tá hra nespolieha na SetUID flag, to by vysvetlovalo problém s prístupom na konfiguráky. Teraz nemám voľného zopár GB aby som si to u seba overil.

                  Čo vylezie z tohoto príkazu (aj u zadávateľa)?

                  ls -ld /home/viktor/wop*/wop*

                  Inak, obvykle by mal byť hráč v nejakých skupinách (games, video a podobne) aby hry nepotrebovali ten špinavý hack s SetUID.

                      Takže SetUID sa v novej verzii nepoužíva. Je užívateľ pod ktorým to má bežať v požadovaných skupinách (námatkov games, video, audio, ...)?

                        Ano je v skupinach games video i audio.
                        Adresar no to je nainstalovane na domacom starsiom PC kde vlane chodi len on wop-1.5-unifield ze rozipovany adresar stiahnutej hry www.worldofpadman.com ale je aj tato hra v repozitaroch.

                        Prepacte ze som neodpovedal bol som cely den v praci.

                          Pretože ak patrí inému užícateľovi (ako napríklad root), tak by to vysvetlovalo nemoznost pristupu na konfiguraciu a kaskadove chyby.

                            Este raz som si tu prechadzal toto vlakno a chcel som skusit ako bolo napisane zmenit nastavenie rozlisenia graf karty no sudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf mi zobrazilo prazdny list. Kde to je zase po novom? mam graficku ATI radeon 9550 sice pri instalacii som ziadne ovladace neinstaloval na grafiku lebo mi to islo hned po instalacii 3D

                            Tak nechapem ci nemoze to byt tym ze som naposledy robil aktualizaciu systemu tak mi nechcelo spustit system potom som v biose musel nastavit aby videlo HDD na user potom uz islo vsetko v pohode ale to len tapam v moznostiach lebo sa velmi tomu nerozumiem.

                              Na domovskej stránke toho projektu je v sekcii download uvedené *.exe ako standalone windows installer. Pre Linux je určený *.zip.

                              To by až tak nemuselo vadiť ak by to bol samorozbalovací archív (čo podľa hlášky aj je), až na to že podľa tej chyby to vyzerá byť zle stiahnutá (poškodená) inštalačka. Skús teda stiahnúť zip archív pre Linux a normálne ho rozbaliť. Úfam že to vyjde.

                                No, a teraz pozerám. Mne to hádzalo tie isté chyby (nepribalili konfiguráky, ale išlo to ďalej na mód 1024x768 do ktorého sa to neviemprečo nedostalo, asi preklep pri výbere vizuálu). Takže asi mierne pokazili Linuxovú verziu. Skús spustiť v Linuxe cez wine:

                                  Dakujem vsetkym ktori sa mi snazili pomoct s tymto problemom. No uz sa vyrielil hoc nie tak ako som si to predstavoval ja. Proste stary stolny PC na ktorom mi nesla ta hra tak odisiel do vecneho elektronickeho neba (zhorela mi maticna dosta) na starost tohto PC uz nebudem sa ho snazit opravovat a ozivovat.
