Zvuk Slackware

Ahoj, tak som si hodil do bedne Slackware 10.2. No skúšal som nájsť, ako sa v slacku nastavuje (konfiguruje) zvuková karta, či hardware ako taký. Možte mi pomôcť? Poprípade mi poradiť, ktoré konfiguráky editovať? Druhá vecička, po nahodení kde mám síce po výbere slovenský jazyk, avšak znaky s ˇ ako čšžť atd mi neukazuje správne (teda kocky). že cez aký príkaz to mám nastavíť, a ktorý súbor je ktomu určený.
