Problem s x-window

mam Linux SuSE 10, Gnome prostredie. Nainstaloval som si driver na graficku kartu Nvidia GF FX 5700. Nainstalovanie prebehlo v poriadku, zapla sa mi automaticky 3D akceleracia. Lenze som zapol aj graficke efekty (nepamatam ako sa to presne vola). A ked som to povolil tak uz nemozem sputit X-Window ...
mozete mi poradit ? dakujem

      logni sa ako root do konzoly a napis cp /etc/X11/xorg.conf~ /etc/X11/xorg.conf

      vlastne prekopirujes zalohu xorg ktoru si system robi ak sa edituje nieco co moze poskodit beh systemu

              nefunguje to ...

              stale ked spustim x-window tak mi zacne blikat obraz a potom len modra obrazovka s upozornenim.
              potom ma automaticky prepne do textoveho modu a vypise :

                  problem bol taky, ze som mal nainstalovany Nvidia driver povodny z Linuxu, ale nemohol som zapnut 3D akceleraciu a tak som si nainstaloval novy driver z www.nvidia.com a uz som mal zapnutu 3D akceleraciu, len som potom skusil zapnut aj 3D efekty a spadlo to a uz to nemozem rozbeahat... vdaka

                    Mne sa zda, ze mas zle nakonfigurovany monitor. Skus zakomentovat tento riadok.

                      Prave som zistil, co to nastavenie znamena. Nemusis to skusat. Nijak to neovplyvni. Inak co to znamena "skusal som zapnut 3D efekty"? Kde si to robil?

                        nastavoval som to v grafickom prostredi, niekde v nastaveniach ohladom 3D efektov pre prostredie. neviem ako sa to volalo... som zaciatocnik v Linuxe

                          Skus zakomentovat celu sekciu DRI a taktiez vsetko z Module. Ak ti potom nabehne mozes to postupne zapinat.

                          XGL vypni v subore /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager

                          Z XGL prepis na Xorg.

                            skusal som vsetko co je v tychto komentaroch ale nic nefunguje ... ako mozem nainstalovat Nvidia driver v prikazovom riadku ?
