tebe sa štandardne štartuje xwindows na 1280x1024 vo farebnej hĺbke 24bit . na ten príkaz xrandr si sa nepozeral rovnako ako aj na nejaké klikátka ktoré zas ja nepoznám....

Modes "1024x768" "832x624" "800x600"automaticky sa spusta prve uvedene rozlisenie
ak mas informacie o monitore spravne, tak to zjavne nezvlada rezim 1280x1024 -- daj si tam 1152x864. aj moja 17 to tak mala.

xrandr -s 9ale nastav si frekvencie pre monitor do konfigu xwindows, to si asi pri inštalácii preskočil.Daj si tam 1024x768x80.
