Greenie 2.0 Galadriel
Dnes vychádza prvá verzia Greenie Linux založená na Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon. Táto verzia je známa ako Galadriel. Iso súbor o veľkosti 230MB je určený na poskladanie vlastného systému. Obsahuje Xserver, OpenBox, Grub, Xpdf, Midnight Commander, Gparted a Synaptic. Súčasťou je grafický inštalátor, grafické nastavenie internetu a jednoduchá dokumentácia. Viac na fóre.
Pre pridávanie komentárov sa musíte prihlásiť.
+ Umožňuje poskladať systém od začiatku
+ Môže sa hodiť aj pre používateľov Ubuntu (pozadia, súbory a návody pre modemy)
toto mam stano z tvojej stranky , ale tipujem to na schizofreniu. Ked je nieco pre pokrocilejsich ,tak taki pouzivatelia sa ti vy..ru na tvoje navody a pozadia, cize farbicky a omalovanky.

3) toto znamena, ze ked hodis toto cedecko do funkcneho ubuntu, kubuntu atd, mozes jednoducho skopirovat vsetky pozadia a niektore z nich si nahodit. to je drobnost. dolezitejsie je to, ze si mozes subory pre rozchodenie modemu nahodit.
vyznam?
nainstaluje si niekto ubuntu, a ak potrebuje nejake suborceky, tak si ich jednoducho stiahne z tohoto CD.
predstav si, ze mas klasicku tasticku na CD/DVD na napriklad 10 kusov. okrem CD/DVD ubuntu a roznych distribucii tam mozes mat galadriel. a ked budes ubuntu nahadzovat, tak len vlozis CD, skopirujes veci pre dotycny modem, vyberies galadriela a rozchodis internet. a robis si co chces...
ak mas rad farbicky a omalovanky, pusti si gimp a hraj sa. a ak chces pomoct ludstvu, odpoj sa od internetu a chod zachranovat velryby, tam hadam nebudes proti vsetkemu :)
Keby si chcel totizto pomoct niekomu ,kto ma ten HW, tak by si to niekam zavesil aj bez toho dalsieho balastu.
pouzivaj co sam chces, kazdy pouziva to, co sa mu lubi. a ozaj preco mas linux, ked iso subor windows 95 ma par MB? a nie je tam moc farbiciek, takze pre neinteligentnych ludi, ktorym ide o to aby malo nieco malo farbiciek, sa to vynikajuco hodi :)
inak eviduje sa do DB podstatne viac informacii o stiahnuti, ktore vsak nie su zverejnovane ;)
Ja pouzivam to co sam chcem , kritizujem to co sam chcem , chvalim to co sam chcem.
Nechcem byť teraz nejaký pacient ktorý tára a nič nerobí, mne stačí že pomôžem začiatočníkom s blbými poinštalačnými tipmi a pár návodov okolo modemov a Ubuntu distier, ale všetko mám odskúšané na mojom booku. Keď ide výber distier, používam osobne openSUSE, na Gentoo kompiláciu nemám čas a železo, používal by som Debian s jeho skvelým Aptom, lenže openSUSE mi šľape dobre a najmä stabilnejšie. Čo s tým chcel básnik povedať? Každý má svoju voľbu ale či to bude Greenie mám vážne pochybnosti.
je to vlastne pravda. kym neprejdem na nieco ine... ale potom to bude "len" upraveny system XYZ. mozno vyrazne upraveny, ale stale bude jasne, z coho to pochadza...
musim ale uznat, ze pri tomto cude sa dost ucim. ked som zacinal v strede septembra, mal som uplne chaos v takych veciach ako /usr/share, /etc a podobne... mozno budu za par mesiacov vsetci vazne prekvapkany :)
opensuse mna osobne vobec nepotesilo (10.3 som nemal, starsie som mal a pouzival som v nich KDE). kedze ma chytilo ubuntu, tak sa ho nejako pokusam okresat o zbytocnosti a lepsie vyladit... daco ide, daco nejde...
pokial ide o programovanie par veci, nieco v plnej verzii bude. mam par napadov, ale programovat v comkolvek veru neviem...
inak je tu nejaky programator ktory by sa chcel podielat na vyvoji? :)
napriklad rozne dokumentacie, azijske pisma, program ekiga, natiahnute zdroje softveru atd...
ale kritika je dobra vec, vyburcoval si ma :)
ak to bude zalozene napr. na lfs, novy balickovaci system, nove config nastroje a tak, tak mozno aj hej. inak nie
config nastroj sa vyvija, teda nieco uz je... ale tak rozhodne nie vsetko
Hodilo by sa forknut Arch. Balickovac uz ma hotovy, len tie klikacky chybaju.
Premysliet treba hlavne smerovanie takejto distribucie. Ale cca by som kcel vidiet disrto ala Sabayon, podvozok to ma ako nejake geek distro ale naistalovanim clovek dostane kompletny desktop aj s konfig nastrojmi.
A to je prave chyba Arch aj Gentaa, maju vyborny podvozok, ale ten desktop si clovek musi vybudovat sam.

Ale to sú len také moje úvahy, programovať (zatiaľ :) ) neviem, čiže to je len taká myšlienka...
vyskytuje sa tu dost kvalitnych ludi, ktori su po technickej stranke schopni takyto projekt zrealizovat a udrziavat. len by to vyzadovalo aby vsetci sa zhodli na jednej filozofii/ceste takejto distribucie
neviem nakolko dokazem byt uzitocny a ake tempo by som stihal (este vela veci by som musel nastudovat), ale ako som pisal, ak sa do toho niekto pusti chcem byt s nim.
Ak by sa ale jednalo o nejaky klon BSD, ako to ma borgcube v sygne, trebars PC-BSD je pomerne vyhovujuce. Pre BFU by mohlo byt zaujimave, ze okrem standardnych slotov podporuje aj priamu instalaciu z webu, tak do toho by som mozno siel, aspon by som sa niecomu priucil. Bolo by tam pomerne dost prace napr. s ovladacmi a ich integraciou z linuxu a win pomocou wrappera alebo ako to ma BSD riesene.
Prave preto ho treba forknut.

Preto ta otazka o repozitaroch, ked sa vybuduje vlastny repozitar, SW v nom mozes pol-roka/rok udrziavat sam a tym sa vlastne zrusi vlastnost rolling (lebo nove balicky tam pocas zivota budes pridavat podla uvahy, nove verzie sa daju do repozitara dalsej verzie distribucie).
